Summer Wedding Photography - Wasing Park
Smiles, Sparkles, and Cow grates…
I met Anthony and Rachel a year before their wedding for their engagement shoot at Virginia Water lake and left that session feeling so uplifted - they were so much fun and their happiness was infectious. We’d had a lovely afternoon doing their engagement shoot so I was really excited to be doing their wedding photography.
It was a glorious summer’s day in August and they had chosen Wasing Park to host their special day. Set in beautiful grounds with huge Cedar trees, an old chapel and a lovely outdoor Victorian Summerhouse, not to mention the main barn itself, Wasing Park is a stunning venue.
Everything was bright, happy, beautiful and fun, just as I knew it would be - right from the bridesmaids’ matching dressing gowns, the gorgeous colours of the bridesmaid dresses and flowers, and the bride’s super sparkly staggeringly high heels, to skipping down the road for newlywed photos and the bride’s awesome personalised glittery converse trainers for the evening.
The sun shone brightly on their beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Summerhouse and the gorgeous bride and groom were just beaming throughout.
Up for anything when it comes to photos, and as they were keen to have a little time together, we had plenty of time to explore the grounds, finding lots of lovely spots for their photographs, with Rachel even happily tip-toeing across a cow grate in her fabulous heels to get into a nice looking field!
After the wedding breakfast and speeches were over, and with heels casually discarded in a corner somewhere and in their place a pair of white personalised converse, it was time to hit the dance floor and party hard, surrounded by their wonderful family and friends.
I hope their future is filled with love and laughter, just as their present is.
