Wedding Reception at The Warren, Kent

Viva Las Vegas!

More and more people are buying my photography services as a present. It’s such a thoughtful and incredibly generous gift.

This wedding reception at The Warren is a perfect example. The couple had got hitched on their own in Las Vegas a few months before. They had an amazing time, the bride in full gown and the groom stylishly suited and booted. Their photos of their special day are beautiful.

But no-one was there to witness it except the two of them. So, naturally, they wanted a big party in the UK to celebrate with their nearest and dearest, including their two children. The Vegas themed wedding reception, complete with Elvis cardboard cut out (what more do you want?!), amazing Vegas themed wedding cake, and huge inflatable dice (which went down a storm with the kids), was held at The Warren in Kent.

Given the ceremony itself had been photographed, they weren’t planning on having a photographer. But the Groom’s best friend decided they should have one as it’d mean a lot to them and their family to have photographs of the event, not to mention group shots with the bride and groom. So he and his wife hired me for the evening as their wedding gift to the newlyweds.

And what a party it was!

Two large families came together to celebrate - there were four generations there - all enjoying the party and sharing the special evening. After the cutting of the cake and the couple’s first dance, the party really got started with guests flocking to the dance floor - there was even a spot of line dancing!

It was a really fun evening to photograph.

Congratulations Tim and Maya!
